Devi’s Falls
The water that feeds the Devi’s Falls comes from the Fewa (Phewa) Lake, which follows a rocky stream to eventually rush down the waterfall and disappear. This might sound unbelievable, but the passages that run under the ground are connected to the hole below the waterfall. The best times to view this spectacular sight is during the monsoon season when there is a high rainfall and the summer season. During these periods the water runs and plunges over rocks and through gorges, giving visitors a breathtaking show.
pokhara
Pokhara is located in the northwestern corner of the pokhara valley which is a widening of the Gandaki valley. The seati river and its tributaries have dug impressive canyons into the valley floor, which are only visible from higher viewpoints or from the air. To the east of Pokhara is the municipality of lekhnath, a moment ago established town in the valley.
In no other place do mountains rise so speedily. In this area, within 30 km, the elevation rises from 1,000 m to over 7,500 m. Due to this sharp rise in altitude the area of Pokhara has one of the highest precipitation rates of the countryside (over 4,000 mm/year). yet within the city there is a noticeable difference in the amount of downpour between the south of the city by the lake and the north at the foot of the mountains.
The weather is sub-tropical but due to the elevation the temperatures are moderate: the summer temperatures average between 25–35 °C, in winter around -2–15 °C.
In the south the city borders on phewa tal (4.4 km² at an elevation of about 800 m above sea level), in the north at an elevation of around 1,000 m the outskirts of the city touch the base of the n range. From the southern fringes of the city 3 eight-thousanders, in the middle of the Annapurna range, the Machapuchare with close to 7,000 m can be seen. This mountain dominates the northern horizon of the city and its name derives from its twin peaks, visitable seen from the south. The porous underground of the Pokhara valley favours the development of caves of which three prominent ones can be found within the city: Bat and Gupteswor. In the south of the city, a tributary of the Seti coming from Phewa Lake disappears at Patale Chhango (Nepali for Hell's Falls, also called Devi's or David's Falls, after someone who supposedly fell into the falls) into an underground gorge, to reappear 500 metres further southBindabashini tample
Bindabasini temple or Bindhyabasini Mandir is of big religious importance to Hindus living in the Pokhara region. It is a vital hub of religious fervor. The temple itself is committed to the Hindu goddess Durga, who is Pokhara's chosen guardian deity. Durga, also famous as Shakti or Kali has numerous manifestations and at the Bindabasini temple she is seen as Bhagwati, a blood-thirsty part of the goddess. Durga appears in the form of a Saligram. A Saligram, according to Hindu mythology is an propitious stone. It is said that the temple was created after the goddess ordered queen Khadag Bum Malla to set up a her statue here. The Bindabasini temple was then founded in BS 1845. Since its organization, Bhagwati has been an object of worship here on a daily basis. Animal sacrifices are typically presented at the temple on Saturdays and Tuesdays. The Hindu festival of Dashain sees large numbers of believers coming to offer sacrifices at Binhyabasini Mandir. Indeed, there is little space for tourist during the festival of Dashain.

gumba
Gumba is on the south part of Phewa lake on the ridge of the heap. There are two routes to it. There is a rough motor road to it. But we resolute to cross the Phewa lake by boating and hiking to the top of the mountain ridge. Boating may take 30 min or you can take your time to reach to the other side of the lake. From there hiking up hill from side to side the jungle may take 1-2 hrs. It took about 2 hrs for us-talking, talking and talking, watching back towards Phewa lake and Phokhara city. Fish tail mountain is also there. Weather was not so clear that time so we couldn't see the beautiful mountain clearly-visibility was not extremely good quality
